Best Spot Azores Dive Center is a very professional organization, with a lot of dive sites all around So Miguel Island. The staff is very kind, optimistic and energetic. They made sure I had a good time while diving. The dives that I did with Best Spot were part of my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (September 2018). My instructor, Bruno, gave me a lot of different choices of dives that I could pick from for the Adventure Dives (pretty much everything, except for the Altitude Diving and the Dry Suit Diving). At the day of the dive he took his time to explain everything needed and to answer my questions. The dive sites where we went to were amazing, we saw so many fishes (incl. groupers & barracuda), seahorses, octopuses, lobsters, sea urchins, a stingray and lots of moray eels. The plant diversity was also pretty neat. All in all, I couldnt have wished for a better company to dive with!
I didnt dive with this company but had a scheduled dive and had paid the deposit. I was sick the morning of the dive I had to cancel and they asked if I wanted to reschedule. I didnt have any days left in my trip to dive so they refunded instead. Quality place that I recommend for their business practices. Thank you!
Really prone to miscommunication. They said affirmative to a question I asked when I was clear about it. Then, close to last minute, I reiterated to make sure they understood my question but they then told me no and I'd end up paying some 100euro extra. Also unresponsive at times. Go with Season Challenge instead--they're slightly cheaper and has really good service and can understand you perfectly. This company just ended up costing me my money to get certified. What regrettable shame...Edit: theyre also extremely passive aggressive and will hunt you down and ambush you like a confrontational reporter in the middle of doing something. Yikes! So glad I did not choose this place. Would advise even my enemies against going here.

Dived with Best Spot last year and 3 years ago. Unfortunately couldn't get there this year. The whole family (5 of us) have had some fabulous diving with Bruno and his team. Looking forward to seeing them again soon.
